Correct - you're not.
Take issue 12, pages 4 and 5 as example.
Arm 05, fitted to collar 31. The longer/weightier the arms get later in the build, the collar grub screw "can't cope" and the arm can droop, sometimes bad enough to end up resting on top of gear 52, (by now flush with gear 54).
The suggested solution = cut the "tube" ends from the black plastic arm packaging. The outer diameter is same as height of collar. The inner diameter matches the arm diameter (3mm).
Slide tube along arm, "sandwich" between (in this example) gears 51 and 54, and tighten grub. The idea/plan is that the tube gives extra stability to the arm.
It shouldn't interfere with the motion because 51,31,54 and arm 05 are locked together - they are, in effect, one piece by this stage.
