When my LX200 was delivered the truck driver was halfway down the ramp when the large box slipped off the trolley, smashed into the edge of the ramp then slammed onto my concrete drive way with a great thump

. I stood there with my mouth open unable to speak

. The silly bugger had not bothered to use the securing strap to hold the box in place and it all went wrong once he started down the ramp as he was in such a hurry. It's a good thing that meade do a fair job of boxing the scopes as there was no real damage except the collimation was well out of whack. This was a private freight company and the driver had to deliver a set amount of packages per day. These were all over the metro and surrounding rural areas. He often did not get back to the loading yard until after 6.30pm each day after a 6am start. The pressure put on these guys from employers is not fair and puts the customers freight at risk.
