Great shots man! Almost got a HDR quality to them. I was born in Warsaw in Poland and have been back to visit twice since, once in 2004 and again last year. Both times I also visited Krakow and Wieliczka. The 2nd time more for the benefit of my fiance who had never been overseas, but I still loved it.
It's quite amazing down there, especially to think that it was started in the 13th century! Well before steam or electricity. Also, the majority of the carvings were done by the actual miners who worked there, it wasn't like they hired sculptors to go down there and do it. The carving was a coping mechanism the miners used to help deal with the appalling conditions, thats why religious and pagan spiritual themes feature a lot. The guide said that about one in ten people that worked there before the industrial revolution were either crippled or killed in a mining accident.
