I don't think the SBIG ones have threads judging from my SBIG 1.25" nosepiece ... they are attached to the camera with 3 worm screws. I'm using my 2" WO diagonal nosepiece at the moment but I don't want to wreck the thread on it and would rather have an original SBIG part.

On second thoughts I guess it wouldn't matter if I wrecked the thread on a $39 nosepiece.
I don't know why I didn't think of it like that before ... I've seen this nosepiece on Bintel's site on many browsing occasions
