Thank you for the kind comments. In Canberra we seem to be in a funny situation where the evening starts off clear, an easterly brings cloud in for a few hours, clears again then clouds over again. No rain just cloud coming and going.

After seeing the fantastic widefields and animations of Lulin, I thought something else was in order, so I've followed Trevor's (Quark) advice and guided on the comet (which was only possible due to acquiring a new guide camera from h0ughy, thanks again h0ughy ) but also gone for a closer capture.

In between the clouds I've managed 43 minutes of data at prime focus with a 150mm F12.5 Mak. I don't think it worked particularly well as stacking tended to remove the background star trails of the 4 or 5 faintish stars and the comet tailing was a bit lost from amp glow in the bottom right hand corner.

I've combined the best 10minute subs and processed them manually and reposted a new picture as the last one was errr.... yuck.
