Thanks heaps all. I went out again last night for another go at a longer video. This time at 200 seconds per sub. I got 15 beaut subs then it clouded over to a uniform orange/grey sky from horizon to horizon in less than 10 minutes!
I waited....and waited.....packed up....watched TV...went back outside...checked...waited some more...
There was a point when Lulin was too far over in the northwest to even bother if it had cleared, but at 3:45 it was still cloud so I threw my hands in the air and went to bed.
I will try yet again tonight.
Anyone got any idea how many more days we have of decent tail display?
