It was beautifully clear here last night and I found it with my new (bought yesterday) binoculars. I did not realise it would be such a white fuzzball - that's what comes of looking at those gorgeous clear and close telescope photos which show the green.
I'd planned to go out to do some photos (we have light pollution from the Gold Coast airport at home and I have to drive ) but I had a migraine.
Hoping to get some photos tonight, using the 28-300 lens on the 30D and keep zooming in.
