Hi everyone!
Well at last I managed to get some clear skies (first for three weeks!) to get another peek to see what Comet Lulin was up to! Was a real waiting game with low cloud and fog rolling in and out after midnight and not staying clear enough for a 3 min exposure! but it paid off around 4am with a good clear break for 1/2 hour and managed to get 5 good subs in before the fog returned. This one was the last for the night and is a 3 min exposure @ iso 800 with the 8" scope and 20D. Was suprised at how much the dust tail had grown and still sporting a Ion tail which showed as two faint anti-tails. The larger ending with a broad fishtail. Very unusual I though and originally thought is was a reflection. but it`s real...

Could just see it naked eye even with my crappy eyesight! Shall try again tonight.

cheers and clear skies
