Lulin from Currumbin Ck Rd, 13/09/2009

Here is my shot from this morning. My first go at comet photography since Halleys, which I shot mounted on a friend's telescope.

Details on the image. I had to adjust levels and brightness before I could see it. Boy, was I thrilled! It is faint, but I turned off all the lights in the computer room and it's quite clear.

I could not see it as I coudln't find my binocs this morning () but I just shot a few 'field' pics. As it turned out this was the first one! Worth getting up at 2am DST for.

If it is fine tomorrow morning I'll try again at a lower f stop and different ISOs
