While GSO optics are good, if I were to start on the accessory trail I would be looking for at least the next level.
As far as barlows are concerned have a look at the Orion Shorty Plus, the Celestron Ultima or the Televue barlow. All are really great bits of kit and will live in your accessory box for the rest of your viewing career. Money well spent IMO.
