That's not entirely true, (I've just seen this thread). I have a small side business doing these sorts of things (apart from electrical repairs and warranty type work which I won't touch) particularly for schools/teachers and small private groups. It's not lucrative by a long shot but it helps to get the observatory built.
For instance I have two science teachers coming over tomorrow night for a few hours of basic photoshop work for DSLR images and in a couple of weeks I'm going to give a run through on Astrometry and Photometry for them.
