Glad you got the program up and running with the modified libstelmain.dll. There was a check line in the original code to check some feature of the display driver that is apparently not in all display drivers. Remming this line fixed the problem of crashing. Also included was a fix to the bug that messed up selecting a new location.
Regarding your Dell the slow speed is most certainly caused by no OpenGl driver for the display card. A check on the manufacturer of the driver may get another driver. I have had similar problems in the past when XP installed its driver for the display. Using the disk that came with the board fixed the problem. If this fixes your Dell let me know.
The full 0.10.2 version is expected for release soon. When the script feature is operational. It will be built with Qt 4.5.0 and should have a speed improvement of about 25%
