Judging by the dramatic increases in prices on existing scopes/accessories since the global economic crisis crapped on our hobby, I wouldn't hold my breath for for the new mak-newt to be sold at any "affordable" price.
The British dealer in the OP's link has it at 950 pounds, I'd say double that (maybe double and a half) at the least to get an approximate Aussie dollar value. Looks sexy as, but pricey for a 7" OTA that's for sure. - relatively speaking ofcourse.
