I must admit a bit of deja-vu going on here! Only a couple of hours
ago I was looking at some shots I took of fisherman silhouetted
at sunset rather than sunrise, but not as nice as yours.

You were lucky with the sunrise! Somehow it seems harder to catch
a good sunrise as opposed to a sunset.

Best Regards

Gary
Thanks Gary. The one with the waves on the rocks is my favourite.
Your fisherman shots are brilliant!
I also agree about the sunrise/sunset comparison - it does seem a bit easier to capture lovely afternoon shots. The light seems to change much faster in the morning.

Thanks Trevor. A Kayaker paddled through the scene and disturbed the reflections at one point.. I know! How Rude!

Fantastic images there Mike, I see you must have gotten a new memory chip. Nice to see that someone else has the trouble of a dusty sensor. I had my old D70 cleaned at John Ralphs Camera House in the past and they did a fantastic job.
Well Done
Andrew
Thanks Andrew. I hadn't thought about taking it there. I cleaned most off myself but there's still some stubborn dust that I want to get off. How much did it cost you?
Oh and I did get a new memory chip - an 8Gig Sandisk Extreme II for about $90. Very happy now

Thanks H, your landscapes are an inspiration to me.

Cheers RB! Was thinking of heading up to Sommersby Falls this arvo (there'd be lots of water there now!) but I can't get away. Maybe tomorrow morning.
