Been lurking here for a while and decided it was time to make a post!
My wife and I have recently bought a telescope from the fine chaps at Bintel - 8" SCT (sorry for the bad weather of late
Worst weather I've seen in a couple of months naturally) and are now looking for some good viewing locations around (if possible) and outside (more likely) of Sydney. We live in a unit and are surrounded by tress and so have Zero chance of seeing anything at home...
We love camping and are looking for some advice on what are the best spots to combine this with some decent viewing. We are happy to camp in tents or use cabins, etc and are happy to drive a few hours out of Sydney in any direction.
