Well it keeps getting worse by the minute, i just had a better look at the tripod, there is a nut missing, most other smaller ones are all loose, and when the mount is placed on top,there is so much play between the mount and the tripod, it has more wobble action than some of my deep diving fishing lures
I wouldn't be happy mounting my 8x24 pentax's on this set-up, let alone some 13 odd kg's of hard earned $$$$$'s
Looks like the mount is to become a boomerang back to the suppliers, maybe i'll get a 27 meg antenna on the return trip
