Comet Lulin passing Zubenelgenubi

Hi all,

I had my first look at Comet Lulin this morning. Very easily found in 7x50 binocs next to the double star Zubenelgenubi (Alpha Librae), and looked nice in my 130mm Newtonian. Couldn't make out a tail, but by the time I had the scope out, the pre-dawn light was starting. I grabbed a quick photo using tripod-mounted K100D and 70-300mm lens @ 210mm, 15sec exposure , f/5.6, 1600 iso. It's not great, but the comet is visible.

Also had a look at Saturn for the first time in several months, and it's appearance in the eyepiece has certainly changed! Looked great with the thin rings.

Cheers,
Stephen
