But that's something altogether different to posting a price and then privately asking you to engage in a bidding process.
I'd report it to the mods as conduct contrary to the spirit of the site and possibly in violation of the website's code of conduct or TOS.
Although you have also admitted you didn't really want the item, despite sending a PM. Technically, that's tyre-kicking and can be quite irritating in itself.

sorry, thats not what i mean, i could have worded it better. What i meant was, i didnt really want one before i seen it, that is, i wasnt actively seeking one, until i seen it, and thought i would quite like it.
