SOLD-Celestron C6s 6" f/10 SCT
Used for visual club observing. OTA is 3 years old (Andrews Communications), nearly new condition. Scope mounted on a Vixen GP EQ mount, on a heavy-duty tripod. Mount is fitted with Vixen Skysensor RA/DEC motors, but I'm keeping my (much loved) Skysensor controller for my other scope; you should be able to find a Skysensor 2000 PC handset on the web; otherwise, I will substitute/install the RA/DEC drives with handpad shown. The GP mount was upgraded/cleaned IAW with the Astronomy Boy Mount Improvements (
www.astronomyboy.com/cg5). OTA has Bob's Knobs fitted, and comes with 1 1/4 diagonal and 25mm Plossel, and standard 6x30 LER finderscope. Great starter scope or handy for go-to throw-in-the-boot astronomy (with Skysensor).
