Most deep sky objects have names which have little or no resemblance to the actual object. Atleast this one actually looks like its given name.

I wasn't sure which way looked more like a running man but the way you have it looks right to me. You could also say the way I have looks correct as well.
I guess the correct way is what you can make out of it.
