Three and a half months off work. The worst part about it was I'd spent nearly $600 (circa 1980) the night before on a new stereo system for my F100 and I couldn't do anything for months because of my hand being encased in plaster. I also spent about 4 grand on alcohol at the Royal Mail in Tewantin at the same time.
