Forget it.
Go and buy either a 32 or 36 " True HD TV that has HDMI input.
Then connect your computer to it using a HDMI to DVI (Or what ever you have as your computer Video) and thats it.
Resolution is 1920x1080, Contrast ratio as high as you can afford.
You can do picture in picture, watch tv and on the computer at the same time. List goes on and on.
I use a 52" Sony TV, and mate, its brilliant.
Do yourself a favour and get it.
You will never go back. Too boot, you have a digital and analog tuner built in sound, motion, and video enhancements, including the newer 200Hz screens.
Starting prices are from around $1100 onwards.
Make sure its True HD (1920x1080), oh yeah, and LCD, but you can get Plasma if you want, but its heavier.
