Did anybody else sight this? It occured at 11:23PM on 22/01/09. Unfortunately we missed seeing this meteor ourselves but I had the camera setup to take consecutive images and found this upon looking back through the frames.
Checked heavens-above to make sure it wasn't an Iridium flare, which it isn't...just a huge fireball...can only imagine how bright it would have been had we seen it with our eyes
Taken with my Canon 400D with Sigma 10-20 lens at 10mm. 22 sequential frames have been stacked on each other to create the startrails effect.
