Hi Peter,
Once you have created your actions, you can select a step in the action and delete it. You can also move steps around by dragging them up and down in the sequence.
If you're not happy with a particular step, select it, press the record button and do the step again. Then press stop.
You'll end up with duplicate steps but you can delete the steps you're not happy with.

I usually double click on each step, one at a time to make sure they do the right thing. If they don't I just re-record that step.

To answer your question: I don't seem to be able to edit the steps once they have been created but as I mentioned, they can be re-created individually.

Try stepping through the steps in your action, but skip the step you think is wrong and see what happens.
