I loved the chance to talk to people who's eyes didn't glaze over once you started talking telescopes/astronomy. Mind you my eyes started glazing as Gary and Mai were explaining the finer points of their TPAS? system in regards to Pauls scope.
As a beginner, it was such a learning experience, and thanks to everyone ( especially Andrew and Paul ) who helped me, taught me, and treated me as an equal.
You all made Astrofest a weekend to treasure.
