if your mother-in-law, JJJnettie, got her pianola fixed up for $1000, she was doing well!! I have spent over $500 in parts and that was just for the action. There are over 12000 parts in just the action (remember there are 88 keys) it is the most fantastic engineering feat to make piano movements And the pianola part - ie the pneumatics - are probably even more. I havent even looked at the bellows yet. It is a great project and I will get there

i hope to switch the rolls on say by Easter. We have 50 of them and my wife remembers playing some of them 45 years ago!!
