I use a plastic storage case from bunnings or supercheap, less than $30, with a bit of foam makes an ideal case. I had to cut a small piece out of mine to allow for my Feathertouch focusser, the standard LX will fit without any mods. I carted my LX to queensland and back for Astrofest a couple of years ago
in this case, with other gear stacked on top.
