I have just upgraded to an EQ6, so my old photography rig has got to go.
The got is controlled by a meade 497 handset (see
http://www.data-plumber.com/autostarupgrade.htm ) and has a autoguiding module a that accepts a st4 input. It is the later model CG5 with roller bearings instead of bushes. It comes with a heavy duty stainless steel tripod (same size as as eq6) and custom pier.
I have also performed most of Astronomy boys suggestions for the cg5.
This cg5 is a 'pick of the litter' and tracks well.
Asking $500+ post or part payment towards an over 6 inch cassegrain OTA, or anything that may interest me.
