I've got one of these thats been sitting it its box unopened since the day it arrived, I bought it when I had a 6" F/8 achro refractor which needed the extension to prevent the scope from hitting the legs of the tripod that I when at or near zenith.. however before I got my hands on the extension, the big acrho was gone, replaced by a smaller APO and an SCT.. Now I just have no need for the item.. I will assume that its black, as they usually are, but I dont know, as I've not opened it...
