I was trying to get the exhibition out to Campbelltown (NSW) to be shown at our new Art gallery.
Our society has a geographical footprint that covers a very large area.
We are also a very active society with good links with our local media.
Yet I was told (by one of the organisers) that Sydney Observatory in NSW is sufficent or travel to Canberra!!
Yet it's shown in Gin Gin, a very nice place but not exactly a hub of astronomical events.
My 2 cents.
