There was a list of the "100 brightest DSO's for southern observers" but this is now superseded and broken up into articles: like "110 Southern Sky Doubles"; "100 brightest Planetary nebula for Southern Observers"...etc.

I am still working with the old 100 brightest DSO's for southern observers...I have mucked around with it, added amended added names and generally played around with it...here ya go..added as an attachment.

You must enable excel macros (when opening the document) as I have included some macros I wrote to convert Decimal co-ords to DMS and HMS. These are harmless.

Just un-zip it and open with excel.

Edit:

Damn I used winrar...all fixed now renamed it to a zip file.

I also added hyperlinks to the object names so you can read data on the targets (by clicking on the names) and added size of some objects so you can get an idea of the targets FOV size.
