Albatross and seals at Cape Pillar/Tasman Island
Hi All,
I recently returned from a couple of weeks visiting family in Hobart, and had the chance to do an eco-cruise to Cape Huay, Cape Pillar and Tasman Island (East of Port Arthur on the Tasman Peninsula in SE Tas). I highly recommend it to anyone heading down that way! Took a few hundred photos, and have included a selection of them here. Cape Pillar has the highest sea cliffs in the southern hemisphere (300m high), and this area is arguably the best bit of coastline in Australia. Lots of wildlife, including Shy Albatross and hundreds of Australian Fur Seals, as shown in these photos.
Anyway, here they are.
Cheers,
Stephen
