. if you are at clear skys, use stellarium (free download free program), you should be able to see two dark spots around where you would expect to find the south celestial pole one large one small. thats the Large and small magellenic cloud, paruse that and you will find heaps and some nice things like the tranchula. in there you will also see 47 tucane (looks like a round fuzzy dot to the eye, but beautiful though your scope.
