Thank you for your comments people.

Trevor looking back 5 years ago really shows how much the international planetary imaging scene has changed. All of the prominent Australian imagers have improved on their skills and the equipment they carry in that time. All of us continue to hunt for that elusive image and that piece of equipment that is going to give you that extra sharp detail.

Personally I reckon an 18"SCT would be high on my hunt down list, perhaps something like an f7 or f8. The impact of which would most likely improve my images still. Don't get me wrong the C14 is a fine instrument and there are many more imaging runs with it yet. Just always thinking of how I can make my images better.

Thanks so much Anthony for this high praise. You being the best in my opinion in Australia; I take this as a huge compliment. Thanks to your advice and research my images have gone from fairly ordinary 4 years ago to what they are today. I could not have gone this far without our long telephone conversations.

Jen, I hope you take a good look around the site. I am always trying to create another image to go in it somewhere, or put up another piece of information. So I hope that people use it as a source of information and perhaps look at the pretty pictures.

Once again thanks all for the kind words. Hoping to start some planetary imaging again for this season real soon.
