This adapter in general is to allow 2" eyepieces and I suppose cameras to be used with the SCT telescopes..
However I originally ordered it to use with my new William Optics ZS 66mm refractor for imaging, however you have to use the william optics SCT to 2" adapter with this refractor as the standard SCT adapters dont fit properly..
I have an external 2" motor focuser fitted to my SCT so this really isn't of any use to me..
