It's not the Southern Pleiades and that does look like NGC3324. If no one has answered tomorrow, I know its in my Starry Night, I'll turn on that computer and let you know. The SP are on the other side of NGC3372(Eta Carinae) by quite a way, and NGC3532 is below Eta.
