I wish some borers would get into the gum tree next door as well (I wonder were I could find some of those)
. The thing is over 20m high and drops leaves and branches all over the roof as well as blocking off a large portion of the sky. Also each time there is a storm we worry that it (or a large branch) will fall on the house.
Good to see someone having some luck in getting rid of a pesky tree.
