What about a trellis or series of them (with vines/creepers) creating a stepped access so there is no direct line of sight, plus some normal landscaping shrubs etc, what if you built up a flower bed there to change the levels a bit too
Add a pond in front so attention is drawn to the pond !
Plus a feature fountain. !!
