Fair Questions Jeff, I had an LX200R 14er on this pier block, it was offset to put the centre of RA and DEC central in the dome. last year I used the 14er 8 times... I figured someone else would make better use of it, and I needed the money...However this pier block never moved in two years of use with a fork and a 14" SCT hanging of the side of it, But to put that little GEM central in the obs I had to build some kind of offset, and I came up with that monstrosity.. must have been the xmas spirit.
..none the less its built, so Ill give it a run... On it Im putting a 150 Synta or similar with a shorty or a small ED...
