Finally a clear night!!!
Too good to miss. Left the wife and kids at home. Took the scope to mums (on a rural property) to get away from the search lights at a neighbouring club. Forgot my dew shield
but it didn't seem to matter as no dew till 11:30pm. Quiet time and hours of solo observing till about midnight. Crashed out in bed by 1:30am. Slept in till 9:00am. Apart from a few mozzie bites on the knuckles
the observing session well worth it, and my best in months.
