Second Jupiter occulation in a few years and missed them both! Oh well, thats how it goes. First time wrong times in the book I was relying on, (and no it wasn't Astronomy Australia) then this time it was during daylight and it was over by the time I could find the moon. (No go-to for this duck).
However, I was able to take this snap after the event and I still reasonably pleased with the result.
Canon IXUS870 IS compact digital handheld. This picture is as shot except for very minor crop. Taken through the 200mm newt. with 25mm Plossl. (40X).
