All good things must come to pass and Australia's era of dominance is over. I think everyone understood this would happen when a crop of the greatest players the game has seen retired virtually at the same time. The good news is that our domestic competition is strong and so I don't think we'll fade away the Windies did after the Lloyd/Richards era. I expect us to fall below SA and India in the rankings but I really hope we stay above England. The fall from our pedestal won't be too painful so long as we can keep on Pommie bashing.
