Thanks for the additional comments there gents.
Once you have combined all of your RGB frames into a single (synethic lum) frame, you then combine this frame with the master R, G and B
frames to produce a L(syn)RGB.
Then split this into the 3 separate RGB channels, then create a new LRGB using a normal luminance.
