Wow Doug that's pretty nice! A really lovely field and nicely composed. You've handled it quite well IMO.
Yes the gas and dust in this field is very tenuous and needs exposure and heaps of it, particularly with an uncooled DSLR in summer
It looks quite ok as is but if you can go at it again hit it with as much exposure as you can and you could have a fantastic image indeed
