about 3 weeks ago Matt.. I was talking to a mate of mine who's a professional photographer about wanting a 1d mk2.. He mentioned that he had a mk3 which was given to him when he left his job as a farewell present.. It'd only done 12,000~ shots at that time.. He has a 1Ds Mk3 of his own, and didn't require the frame rate of the 1Dmk3.. So he offered it to me at slightly higher than I was considering paying for a 1Dmk2
