The problem with a dob and imaging is Field Rotation. That's fixable and I may be wrong but I think Bartel tackles that too (a three axis system).

Why do you need both a handpad and a laptop for control? I have scope controlling software on my computer already... so what I'm looking for is a way to retrofit a motor to a dob that responds to the software...
Can you set me straight? Maybe I'm misunderstanding.
