You could try turning off autoplay in group policies.
Start/Run type in gpedit.msc to get the policy editor.
Go to Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates/System using the nav window on the left.
Scroll down to Turn off Autoplay in window on the right and click the properties link to display a dialog. Set it to disabled. and reboot the machine.
That might do it but if not, put it back where it was
