Hi all,
I have always unliked how unstable the EQ6 saddle clamp is when holding quite small load (C8 + Guidescope + Camera). I'm looking into upgrading both my C8's dovetail plate to a losmandy D plate and upgrading the EQ6's saddle clamp to a Losmandy D saddle. That will hopefully give the stability I want and also be perfect for a larger load (when I upgrade
).
I'm hoping someone can help me out here and give me some advice on exactly what I need and if this is the best option.
