Stom in Newcastle 18/12

Here is a great image of the fast moving storm that cam thru Newcastle on the afternoon of the 18th December. It came over very dark and I left work in Darby St to take a look from Strezleckie (spelt wrong) lookout. As i got there i was in time to see the Shelf cloud drifting north but the camera was not ready. Once I had the 18-200 lens the I was only able to get a vague version compared to what I saw when I arrived. As I watched the Eastern edge of the cloud mass started to take on a more sinister look, developing into an amazing upside down funnell shape. I have seen this before but never like this. It was rapidly rotating and i was really hoping for a waterspout. still this was amazing enough. this was only visible for 3-4 minutes at most but many people saw it.
Image 1 is of the deteriorating Shelf cloud.
Image 2 is of the Funnell cloud formation. T
Hope you like them.
