Might be the quality of the optical work and the build quality.
My recallection is that all of them are fully tested and certified and they use only the best quality glass.
Would I buy one , probably not , not really a refractoholic (and a 4" APO is a tad small) , I'd rather spend the same money on a bigger fast newtonian (a 14-16" f4 say).
